The Rev. Rob Shearer is a United Church minister. Rob is Regional Minister for Church Planting (new communities of faith) with The Pacific Mountain Regional Council of the United Church of Canada. He is also a founder of the AbbeyChurch - a creative, inclusive, liturgical worshipping community and The Emmaus Community - an intentional community inspired by monastic practices and values; both of which are located in Victoria, BC and both of which are shared United Church/Anglican Church. He has a background in grassroots justice activism and radical hospitality, as well as in contemplative and liturgical prayer.
